Natural
Horsemanship Lessons & Training
Lisa has been a life long student of Dressage and
Jumping with her many horses since childhood. In the last 7 years, she
has discovered Natural Horsemanship. Following Pat Parelli's systems, she spent
a year studying with Pat and Linda, receiving full scholarships to stay at the
Florida and Colorado Centers in 2010 with her horse Luka, graduating with their
2 Star Professional status at the top of the class. After representing
the Parelli's at the World Equestrian Games, Lisa secured a top training
position with a Hanoverian Breeding Farm in Sacramento, California
(Silverhorne Sporthorse). The farm of 80+ horses was recently
recognized in several notable magazines as a credible producer of Elite German
Imported Bloodlines with an impressive Natural Dressage and Jumping foundation
program. Lisa developed and trained the top third Hanoverian in the USA
for her Mare Performance Test as well as a string of others in 2011.
For 2012, Lisa has set her sights back to her home town of Simcoe County, where
she hopes to demonstrate how a natural foundation can lead to a wonderfully
balanced, fun partner to pursue excellence in Dressage and Jumping. You
can look "normal and traditional", but apply horse psychology and understanding
to achieve extraordinary results. Lisa is also a dedicated student
of Karen Rohlf's Dressage, Naturally program, which helps develop the body of
the horse for dressage, much like a yoga and dance class for the human!
Lisa is available now for private and group lessons, as well as training for
your horse.
Stay tuned for upcoming events; featuring foundational elements needed to
achieve a light feeling yet powerful collection and seat first
communication. Leading to advanced bridle-less flying changes, jumping
around and as always... natural horsemanship safety and fun!
